Fire drill 18 jan 2008

Astonishingly, i woke up energetically today. I got ready for school

but i forgot put my literature file cover page into my bag. I arrived at school at

7:15 and carried my bag to the parade square lazily as my class room was locked

We were told that we would have our fire drill in the week on Monday

by Mr. Chia. It was Friday and there was no signs of the fire drill yet. However

my instincts told me that we would have the fire drill during the last period

which is literature.

If that was true I would also be able to escape from passing up my

literature cover page. My instincts did not let me down. Lessons went smoothely.

We started the lessons in a relaxed way as we discussed about our blog project

for 45 minutes. I loved the maths lesson as we did a interesting project about

measuring the VS crest.

Then the the last period, literature begun. Like i said, my insticts did

not let me down. I became the first person in the world to be relieved to hear the

fire alarm go off! After the fire drill there was no more time for lessons. I went

through the harsh training and returned home exhausted.

My vacation 13 jan 2008

I was told we are leaving to india in a few day and memories rose to my mind. I remembered my visit to india last year.
It was a bright sunday afternoon, i was told by my parents" that we were about to

leave on a vacation in two days time. I had already started dreaming about my vacation to

India.

Finally, the two day passed slowly and we were on our flight ready for our exhilarating

vacation. We arrived at the Delhi airport where our uncle was waiting to pick us up.

We went to his house rested the remaining day. The next day we got ready to visit my

cousin"s house. I was really exasperated by my nephew non-stop crying disallowed me to

watch the cricket match in the television with peace.

The next day, we went to Agra to visit one of the world"s seven world wonders. It

is one of the world"s most gorgeous architecture. It was a amazing and gigantic sight.

We saw kutub minar and red fort which were built four hundred years under moghul

empire. I was surprised that they could build such monuments in the past without the help

of technology.

Although, we had an ecstatic experience in India, it was a distainful

experience when it was time to return to Singapore. With some sobs, we waved to our

relatives before getting on our flight.

Cricket tournament 14 jan 2008

The year 2006 was great for me as i had a series of good events

and plenty of joy. The most important one is coming to Victoria School. In

2007, i chose cricket as my cca which is also my favourite and it is sport that i

enjoy.

I am proud to say that i was chosen in `c` division as an opening

batsmen and a wicket-keeper. Although i enjoyed cricket, the harsh training we

went through was exhausting. To be honest, there were moments where my

friends and i felt like giving up, fortunately for us we pushed ourselves on.

We had to climb up and down seven stories or run ten rounds

around the school field on almost a daily basis. It really paid off in the end as

we got fit and won the championship trophy that we always dreamed of, it was

not easy.

Although we lost a match in the group stage, we managed to thrash

ACSI in the semi-final and won Raffles Institution after a great
struggle. Today, we did our training even more sincerely and hope to win
both the

tournaments this year.
